Tell us your business story to date...

I started Fork & Dram at the end of 2015 when I realised small and start up food and lifestyle businesses had very few options when it came to affordable creative services; quality photography, functional websites and branding. Although I am privileged to shoot and style for a number of larger brands, the core of my business offers budget-friendly packages for start-ups in the early stages of their business journey.

Last year, I was presented with a number of projects that required imagery, a website and either social media help or logo design all as one project. So I grew the business towards the end of 2016 and added a number of handpicked social media gurus, illustrators, graphic designers and marketers to our team, that compliment our business model. This meant I could provide a creative agency style service aimed at small business and start-ups, with a price point to match. .

Since starting the business in late 2015, I have worked with a number of clients including Tesco, Heston Blumenthal, Amelia Singer, Lucie Bennett, Rubies in the Rubble, Sweet Pea Pantry, Marks & Spencers, Popcorn Shed, amongst many others. My favourite part of working with small businesses is watching them grow and receiving the feedback from the work we've done together that's allowed them to flourish.

I am passionate about making these creative services for start-ups affordable and personable - keep in touch with us and our team on Instagram @forkanddram.

What can we look forward to seeing from you?

By the end of the year I hope to move into a lovely new studio in the leafy suburbs of North London/Hertfordshire allowing our business to grow by the size of jobs we take on and team to have a base and work alongside me. I am working on a few personal branding/photography projects including a delicious new deli near home and a family self-published cookbook.

Can you share your 3 bits of advice for fellow entrepreneurs or anyone starting their own business?

1. Don't ever give up, it takes many years to become an overnight success
2. Believe in what you do so others can believe it too
3. Network, network, network, put yourself in front of your customers and associates, they aren't going to come to you!

What tools & resources have helped you in your startup journey?

1. Social Media - your second shop window after your website
2. Industry events and talks - helped me get feedback and understand what my audience is looking for
3. Books and Google - if you don't know how to do something, find out!
