Tell us your business story to date...

So, I absolutely love fitness and nutrition – when I go into WholeFoods and health stores I feel like a kid in a sweetshop. I’m obsessed with the impact nutrition has on our bodies, particularly in regards to physical and mental performance.

One day I was trying to find a fitness food style hamper to send to a friend, and I realised it didn’t exist. So I thought ‘why don’t I create it?’. There's so many amazing products out there, from the global brands down to the awesome startups with cool stories, and I wanted to create an easy, exciting, and affordable way for people to discover them. And that’s how Fitty was born.

Can you share your 3 bits of advice for fellow entrepreneurs or anyone starting their own business?

1. Surround yourself with incredible, inspiring and entrepreneurial people – go to events, always be open to chat to people/network, watch Ted Talks...all that jazz.

2. Don't be scared, doubt yourself, or hold back. Everyone and every company started from somewhere – and if Internet Explorer 7 still has the audacity to ask to be your default browser, you can handle whatever it is.

3. Stay true to your vision. It sounds like a cliché, but it's everything.

What do you think it takes to become an entrepreneur?

It takes everything you've got. But it's so worth it.

Is there anything you can offer to help other startup businesses?

I have quite the little black book of brands and love introducing people, so am always happy to hook people up.

Fitty's been going for just over a year, so we're still a tiny startup and always up for grabbing a coffee and chatting about our experience to date.

Is there any help that are you looking for?

We're always looking to collaborate with nutritious food and drinks brands, and we're currently developing partnerships with gyms and activewear brands.

In early 2017 at some point we'll be going for investment and growth, so always keen to connect with others been through the investment stages.
